How To Consign at BELLA GRANDE
Thank you for considering BELLA GRANDE as your consignment partner. You are joining an ever-growing list of women who have made the choice to partner with BELLA GRANDE! We will work hard to earn your trust and your loyalty! Items accepted daily, no appointment is required; however, if you have more than 30 iems and it is your first time consigning, please call to set up an appointment. Items We Accept: * Quality womens plus size clothing, sizes 12 and up * Special Occasion * Swimwear (year round) * Lingerie, Sleepwear, Undergarments (NEW) * Accessories such as belts, scarves, handbags * Shoes (worn once or twice) Items We Do NOT Accept: * Wedding Gowns * Undergarments unless NEW with TAGS * Maternity How to Prepare: Pre-sort your items prior to bringing them in to ensure there are no items that won't meet our standards (stained, ripped, out of date, wrong season). Select your in-season better brands* for consigning. Freshly launder and press those you wish to consign. There is no limit to the number of items you may bring for consideration. If you have a carload, let us know, and we'll bring our rolling rack out to your vehicle. Items must be brought in on hangers or be wrinkle free upon arrival. Your hangers are returned to you if you wish. Items such as jeans or soft knits may be folded in tubs. NO GARBAGE BAGS PLEASE! Items with odors, stains, damage or excess wear will not be accepted. We do not accept vintage or dated items. Items left with us later found to be unnaceptable must be retrieved within 24 hours of drop off or it is assumed you do not want them and they are donated. * We do not accept discount brands such as Basic Editions, Faded Glory, Jaclyn Smith, GEORGE, etc. Remember - the better your items look, the better they sell! Buyers want clothing that looks new. When You Arrive: When you bring your items in, we will select and price items that are best suited to our customers. Please understand if we cannot accept an item. We will ask you to review and sign the Consignment Agreement while we do a quick presort of your items. The consignment period is 60 days. You will receive a receipt stating the date your consignment period ends, along with a copy of the agreement. BELLA GRANDE sets the selling price based on supply, demand, quality, condition, and style. If you have pricing concerns, please discuss with us BEFORE you leave, not after your items are tagged. Your items will be entered into our computerized database, priced, tagged and put on the selling floor within 48 hours. An itemized printed inventory is available upon request within 48 hours. If you would like to retrieve any unsold items at the end of your consignment period, you must do so within 7 days of the date you were given. Items not reclaimed within 7 days become the property of BELLA GRANDE to dispose of as we see fit, including sale or donation. Call ahead if you are planning to pick up unsolds and we'll have your items ready for you. During the Consignment Period: The selling price is reduced after 4 weeks by 20%, and by 40% after 6 weeks. You will receive 40% of the final selling price of your items. Please feel free to stop in anytime to check the status of your account and collect any monies owed to you. Payment: We work hard to showcase your items and get the best price for you. We pay consignors by cash, check & BELLA GRANDE in-store credit. We pay on demand; however, we also issue checks on the 15th of each month for account balances greater than $30. You may use your account credit towards purchases at any time. We will do our best to safeguard your items, but we are not responsible for damage or loss.
