Happy Valentines Day everyone and who the hell ordered this SNOW!

Today I have the rare pleasure of working ON my business and not IN it, and it feels WONDERFUL!  So far today, I’ve updated the website, as much as my technical limitations will allow, and working on updating MySpace, as well!

Store was quite busy this week and saw lots of ladies frustrated with the challenge of clothing their bodies, which are rarely in perfect proportion.  Pear shapes carry extra weight in their lower area, apple shapes are larger through the middle, & then there are those who carry the weight in their upper bodies.

Particularly challenging are dresses and coats, that must fit us from top to bottom!  The latest popular trend in empire waist & swing styling has been a godsend to us larger women who have proportion issues!

TIP:  Are you petite & want to create the appearance of being taller & slimmer?  Take a look at the necklines you wear.  Choose v-neck styles over crew neck whenever possible, which will elongate your appearance.  Also choose vertical detail & embellishment, such as stripes (vertical please), trims, bindings & buttons!
